My Favorite travel memories

These are the moments I will remember forever
The few seconds that touched me
​And made me love life even more

Dear readers

The first thing that I pack whenever I leave for a trip is always my notebook. It has been a tradition since my road trip from BC to Quebec in 2017 to take a few minutes at the end of the day and write down what I have done during that day. I don't always manage the time, but I try to do it as often as I can. 
But my favorite part, is selecting the one moment from the day that stood out from the others. The one moment that, when people ask me what happened during my trip, is gonna be the first to come to mind.
Today, as I took a moment to read through my notebook, I decided to share some of these moments with you. Little snippets that otherwise would fit nowhere, but matter way more than a list of the prettiest parts of a country.
Since reading poetry is also one of my traveling traditions and, often times, one of those memorable moments, I also shared some of my favorite poems.

After hiking in the heat of the desert sun, there's nothing better than a refreshing dip in a mountain stream

I have never been very lucky with the weather when traveling, but three days in the rockies of not seeing the rockies, may be my worst luck ever

The only things that can make italian food even better is making it yourself and sharing it with new friends

The sunsets are always my favorite part of the day, but some just hit a little different
